Plans to build a new house in Dawlish have been submitted to Teignbridge District Council.

The outline application seeks permission for a two-storey, three-bedroom home to be constructed to the right of 9 Elmwood Crescent in place of the existing garage.

The new dwelling would "mirror" number 9 and use the same materials, forming a new terrace of three buildings with the two existing semi-detached properties.

It would also have parking space for two vehicles, pedestrian access to the rear, and an enclosed rear garden.

The application is currently awaiting a decision from the district council. Since it is outline only, if approved a full application with more detail will be submitted.
