Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash on Exeter Road, Dawlish

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital on Friday 10 June after being involved in a crash with a car on Exeter Road, Dawlish.

Police were called out to the incident at around 7.10pm, and the road was closed for emergency services to treat the rider.

The rider, a man in his 20s from Teignmouth, was taken to hospital.

The road was reopened at around 8.30pm.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at around 7.10pm on Friday 10 June with reports of a collision between a Kawasaki motorcycle and an Audi A1 on Exeter Road, Dawlish.

"Emergency services attended and the road was closed to allow for treatment of the rider who is a man in his 20s from Teignmouth.

"The rider was taken to hospital and the road was reopened at around 8.30pm.

"Enquiries continue into the circumstances surrounding this incident."
