Dawlish's Marine Hotel and Tavern may open again this Friday – but only if the weather is good enough to sit outside.

Weather permitting, it will open from 11am until 9pm on Friday, May 14, Saturday 15 and Sunday 16.

It will be serving drinks only, not food, but customers are welcome to bring their own.

From Monday, May 17, the tavern will open indoors, with times to be announced.

There is no need to book – it will be first come, first served. Customers will need to sign in and social distancing will be observed. It will be table service only, with up to six people to a table – there will be no standing.
