Dawlish's Lady's Mile Holiday Park has been commended in the South West Tourism Excellence Awards 2020-21.

It didn't make the finals of the Holiday Park of the Year category, but has still been named among the five best in the region.

The three finalists are Andrewshayes in Axminster, Ladram Bay in East Devon and Landal Gwel an Mor Holiday Park in Portreath, Cornwall.

The other 'commended' entry was Martha's Orchard in Padstow, Cornwall.

This year's awards were launched just before the first lockdown in March last year, and the judges had to take into account the Covid restrictions.

They looked at the entrants' digital presence, along with comments on social media and review sites.

The final winners will be announced on April 22.
