Organisers of Dawlish's annual carnival have launched an online fundraising appeal to bring back the parade in style with a headline act.
The parade usually occurs at the end of carnival week, but has not been held since 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This year, organisers say they want as many people as possible to take part in the community parade in walking groups.
The funds raised online would pay for 'one big headline act'.
A spokesperson said: "We're fundraising to have Ramage Mas! come to us as we did in 2019.
"We don't have the funding this year in our reserves to pay for them, so we are asking you to help us get them to Dawlish in 2022!"
The goal is to raise £4k - and the fundraiser has £110 in donations at the time of writing.

Carnival week will take place in Dawlish from Saturday 13 to Friday 19 August this year.
