With the weather getting warmer, Covid restrictions easing and events taking place again, people are rediscovering the enjoyment of planning what to do in their free time.

And to help out, every week Dawlish Nub News will be highlighting an 'Event of the Week' – something taking place in the next few days in the local area.

There are also event listings in the What's On section of the site – and anyone can add their own events, free of charge.

This week's Event of the Week is something you can enjoy from your own home with family or friends. It's the online screening of a play exploring adolescent mental health, performed by the Dawlish Repertory Company's Youth Group, as part of the National Theatre's Connections programme.

Their production of 'The IT' will be shown on the Theatre Royal Plymouth's website on Sunday, June 13 at 6.30pm, and will be available for anyone to view.
