With the weather getting warmer, Covid restrictions easing and events taking place again, people are rediscovering the enjoyment of planning what to do in their free time.

And to help out, every week Dawlish Nub News will be highlighting an 'Event of the Week' – something taking place in the next few days in the local area.

There are also event listings in the What's On section of the site – and anyone can add their own events, free of charge.

So if you're organising a pub quiz, a walk, an exhibition, a live gig (when restrictions allow) or anything you'd like to promote, just go to the What's On section and hit Nub It.

This week's Event of the Week is a beach clean this Saturday, June 5, organised by Dawlish Against Plastic. It starts at 10am at Boat Cove. It's a great chance to get outdoors, be with other people (socially distanced, of course) and do your bit to keep our beautiful seashore free of waste – but you do have to register if you want to join in.
