A new shop, Hummingbird Gifts and Homeware, opened on Fore Street in Sidmouth on Saturday (2 July).

The shop is the latest venture of Tiffany Leach, who also owns Kingfisher Cards and Gifts in Sidmouth and Black Swan Gifts in Dawlish.

Tiffany, who had been looking for a suitable shopfront to expand into homeware, said: "I've been looking for a shop like this for ages. It's the perfect size.

"It's got such a nice big glass shopfront, and storage upstairs."

Hummingbird Gifts and Homeware sells a variety of products, including cushions, rugs, candles, plant pots, handmade pottery, kitchen items, and more.

Ms Leach added: "They're hand-picked by me: individual, unique things as well as stuff that you generally need.

"Some are from Belgium, Copenhagen. We've got a few local artists, such as Dollyhotdogs, they're local, and have sea-life cushions and cups and things like that."

Tiffany will be running the shop herself for the time being. You can find Hummingbird Gifts and Homeware at 31a Fore Street, Sidmouth next to The Black Horse and opposite Holland and Barrett.
