Barton Surgery in Dawlish has launched a Facebook page to help it communicate with patients.

Its page will be used as a platform to share information and updates about the surgery, guidance from the NHS, self-help resources and more.

Patients will not be able to message the page directly, but can still get in touch via email or phone.

A spokesperson for Barton Surgery said: "We've decided to create a Facebook page because it's a modern and efficient way to communicate with patients and share information on a larger scale.

"We will be sharing practice information and updates, NHS guidance, self help resources and much more. Anything that is likely to affect or help our patients."
