Dawlish: Weekend and bank holiday weather forecast

By Will Goddard

23rd Jul 2021 | Local News

After several weeks of gloomy downpours, this weekend from Sunday and next week including the bank holiday on Monday will see a dramatic shift.

Saturday will be a little damp and cloudy, perhaps with a few sunny spells in the afternoon.

Sunday however will be warm and dry, with plenty of sunshine throughout the day. The UV index will be 'very high' - so make sure to wear sunscreen. With little to no wind, this Sunday is a perfect day to go to the beach.

Bank holiday Monday will see temperatures as warm as 17 degrees, with the wind slightly stronger than the day before.

Continuing into next week, the temperature will only rise, with Wednesday enjoying highs of 19 degrees - but the wind will pick up, with gusts of up to 22mph.
