Dawlish Walking Festival is set to return this year after a two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 2022 festival will take place from 24 September to 2 October, and features several walks each day for people to join and also litter picks and beach cleans.

Most of the walks are free. Highlights include a walk with the waterfowl wardens, one with a local historian, and another singing sea shanties.

A spokesperson said: "We're delighted to be back thanks to the generosity of our new sponsor Oakcliff Holiday Park, supported by Dawlish Town Council and volunteers.

"Many walks are led by community organisations and individuals who generously give their time during the festival.

"There are a variety of walks on offer with different special interest groups, so have a good look through our programme."
