Dawlish United FC's U16 youth team has won the Devon FA Youth Cup final.

The youngsters beat Elburton Villa 4-2 on penalties on Sunday (16 April) after the match ended in a 0-0 draw.

Manager Paul McIntyre said: "For Dawlish U16s to win this County Cup Final is such a massive achievement.

"The lads were fantastic and played against a very good Elburton Villa team that have been in the last three finals.

"This is a perfect end to the lads' youth football and for me it's been a pleasure being their coach and we have made some brilliant memories.

"Myself and all the parents and people involved are super proud of them all."
