If you're experiencing the long-term effects of Covid-19, support is available for you to make sure you recover and are not in any danger.

What is 'Long Covid'?

Symptoms of Long Covid can include fatigue, chest pain, shortness of breath, insomnia, and more.

According to the NHS, most will recover after 12 weeks but for some, it can last several months.

What should I do?

You should go to your GP if you're worried about your symptoms four weeks or more after having Covid.

They may refer you to a Devon Long Covid service.

You can click here to go to the 'Your Covid Recovery' section of the NHS website for advice on managing the effects of Covid, and find out when to seek help.

If you think you need urgent medical help, you can use the online NHS 111 service, or call 111.

You should call 999 for an ambulance in a life-threatening emergency.
