A plant sale held in Dawlish on Saturday, July 10 has raised more than £800 for good causes.

The Mayor of Dawlish, Cllr Val Mawhood, held the plant sale to raise money for her Mayoral charities – youth groups and other local organisations.

It took place outside the Strand Centre and Cllr Mawhood was helped by volunteers, including members of the Dawlish Garden Society.

She has thanked everyone who came to buy plants, and all those involved in organising and running the stall.
