A Dawlish man has been arrested after a brawl in Exeter.

Police were called out to reports of a large-scale disorder in Cowick Street, St Thomas, on Friday night (October 23).

It was reported that 10 to 15 people were involved in an altercation near the Tesco supermarket between 9.30pm and 10.10pm.

A 29-year-old man from Dawlish was arrested on suspicion of affray and taken into police custody. He was later released under investigation pending further enquiries.

Police are asking anyone who saw what happened, or who has any other information that could help their inquiry, to contact them on 101 quoting the crime reference CR/089770/20.
