Dawlish man arrested after alleged attack in Teignmouth

A Dawlish man has been questioned about an attack on a man in Teignmouth last week.

A man in his 30s was left with cuts and a head injury after an incident in Bank Street on Thursday, January 21 at about 4pm.

Police are investigating reports that he was hit by a car before being assaulted by the occupants of the vehicle.

Following the incident officers, including armed units, attended addresses in Teignmouth and Dawlish.

A 39-year-old Dawlish man was arrested, along with two men from Teignmouth, aged 58 and 20. All three were questioned on suspicion of attempted GBH.

They have been released on police bail until Friday, February 19 as police enquiries continue.
