Dawlish: Free craft course initial dates revealed at Crafters of Dawlish

The initial dates for the upcoming free craft courses taking place at Crafters of Dawlish have now been revealed.

Starting in September, the courses will run on Wednesday afternoons from 1.30pm-3.30pm and will be initially limited to four to five people per session.

Course dates

- Flower Making (8, 15 September)

"We will be crafting various flowers and leaves from paper and card. Make an arrangement, floral ring or pop them in a vase." Material costs £2

- Jewellery Making (22, 29 September)

"Learn techniques of basic jewellery making, in these two sessions we will be make earrings and a bracelet."

Material costs £4

- Learn to knit (6, 13 October)

"Learn about different types of yarn, needles used and basic stitches, how to cast on and cast off. We will be starting with squares which can be made into cushions and blankets." Material costs £2

- How to use your sewing machine (20 and 27 October)

"Bring your machine along and learn how to thread it, alter tensions for different types of fabric, which needles and threads are best for your projects. We may even have time to make a tote bag. Please note this is for basic machines only."
