Dawlish firefighters put out Little Haldon car blaze

Dawlish firefighters put out a vehicle fire on Little Haldon on Thursday (16 February).

A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "On arrival, the crew found the engine bay well alight.

"Two firefighters in BA (breathing apparatus) were used along with CAFS (compressed air foam) to quickly extinguish the fire and stop it from spreading to the rest of the vehicle.

"We also had two other call outs in the night, so it was a busy few hours for a few of the crew."
