Dawlish Fire Station attended over 500 incidents in 2022, data shows

Dawlish Fire Station attended a total of 523 incidents in 2022, according to new data.

An on-call fire and co-responder station, it logged 129 fire engine incidents as follows:

  • 44 automatic fire alarm incidents;
  • 18 domestic fires;
  • 16 controlled burns;
  • 9 trapped/ lift rescues;
  • 9 gains of access;
  • 7 commercial fires;
  • 6 vehicle fires;
  • 5 fire 'other' incidents;
  • 2 gas/ hazardous incidents;
  • 2 road traffic collisions;
  • 2 small animal rescues;
  • 1 carbon monoxide alarm incident;
  • 1 dangerous structure incident;
  • 1 internal flooding incident;
  • 1 rescue from open water;
  • 1 assist of other agency.

It also attended 394 co-responder incidents.
