A café in Dawlish is again raising funds for another town defibrillator - this time by asking locals to guess how many candy canes are in a jar by the till and leave a donation.

No.1 Café held a similar competition in October this year in which people had to guess the weight of a giant pumpkin in its window.

Almost £200 was reportedly raised through donations.

How can I take part?

You can find the jar with candy canes inside next to the till. To take part, you will need to guess the number of candy canes, write the number down on a form provided, and leave a donation.

The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve, Friday 24 December.
