Dawlish: 7 activities happening weekly at the Strand Community Centre

The Strand Community Centre, located in the Dawlish URC Church building on the Strand, has a variety of activities taking place every week.

Here is a list of seven clubs, groups, and events taking place at the moment at the venue:

1. University of the Third Age (u3a)

Dawlish and District u3a meets at the Strand Community Centre once a month, with its next meeting on Monday 15 November.

2. Toddler Ballet

Ballet classes take place every Tuesday at the centre.

3. Karate

Karate classes happen every Wednesday at 6pm.

4. Inspire Café

Taking place every day from Tuesday to Saturday, the volunteer-run Inspire Café provides healthy and homemade food subsidised by donations. It has disabled and baby changing facilities, free Wi-Fi, a children's play area and welcomes dogs.

5. Bingo

Bingo takes place every Friday at the Strand Community Centre.

6. Craft Stalls

Craft Stalls are available every Saturday.

7. Play area

The centre offers a play area for children every day.
