Brunel Holiday Park in Dawlish Warren sees further £100k asking price reduction
A holiday park that offers stays in converted train carriages in Dawlish Warren has seen a further reduction to its asking price.
Brunel Holiday Park was initially put up for sale for £950k in 2022, but was brought down to £650k earlier this year.
Now, offers in the region of £550k are being invited.
The park was initially set up by Great Western Railway in 1935, but only for railway employees and their families to use.
Closed in September 2016, it was acquired by new owners the following year and refurbished. It reopened in 2019, and has reportedly been "incredibly successful" despite the pandemic.
Estate agency Bettesworths added that future bookings are looking strong for the carriages, which have been "renovated to an incredibly high standard".
The carriages can each sleep up to six people and have sea views, on-site parking and wi-fi. The site is located near Dawlish Warren railway station.
Brunel Holiday Park is believed to be the "largest and most impressive 'trainaction' site in the UK", and is open all year round.
