British Transport Police called to Dawlish Railway Station after reports of fight on train

Officers from the British Transport Police were called to Dawlish station just after 7pm yesterday (Thursday 3 February) after reports of a fight on a train.

A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly, but was later released and police took no further action.

A spokesperson said: "British Transport Police were called to Dawlish station at 7.02pm yesterday evening (3 February) following reports of a fight on-board a train.

"Officers attended, and a man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly. He was later released and no further action was taken."
