UPDATE - Motorcyclist injured in accident on A379 near Dawlish

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in an accident near Dawlish this morning (Monday, January 18).
The biker, a man in his 40s, collided with a car on the A379 between Dawlish and Starcross, shortly after 8am.
Police said he is believed to have sustained a potentially serious leg injury, and has been taken to hospital in Exeter.
The driver of the car is uninjured.
Road closures have been put in place while emergency services remain at the scene.
