Update 21 December: Ruth Palin was found last night 'safe and well' by police.


Original article 20 December: Devon and Cornwall Police has issued an appeal for a woman who has been reported missing from the Combeinteignhead, Newton Abbot area.

Ruth Palin, 62, was last seen at her home in Combeinteignhead at around 12pm yesterday (Sunday 19 December).

A police spokesperson said: "She is described as white, of sturdy build, with blonde, mid-length hair and is 5ft 1in tall.

"She was wearing black leggings, a floral tunic top and a black North Face coat."
