A new deli is expected to open in Dawlish this spring, offering a variety of goods and local produce.

It's going to open next door to the Australian-style brunch café Le Cygne on the Strand.

The deli is going to focus on showcasing goods from local producers, and stock alcohol and gifts.

It's expected to be open by the beginning of April.

Husband and wife Mark and Souhela, who run Le Cygne, said: "It will be a deli-food hall [with] wine, spirits, cider and beer, [and a] gift area too, focusing on local producers.

"[It will open] around the beginning of April if all goes well."

The pair, who have managed restaurants in London and Paris, opened their café in Dawlish in July 2018. Read more here.
