Dawlish: Replacement buses all weekends in February between Exeter and Newton Abbot
People wanting to travel between Exeter and Newton Abbot will have to take replacement bus services every weekend in February, according to Great Western Railway.
It comes due to planned engineering work on the platforms at Dawlish Railway Station. The buses will call at all stations between Exeter St Davids and Newton Abbot.
Other disruption in February at weekends
Trains between London Paddington and Paignton, Plymouth, or Penzance will terminate at Exeter St Davids, and 'most' trains between Cardiff Central and Penzance will terminate at Taunton.
Buses will replace trains non-stop between Tiverton Parkway and Plymouth. Replacement buses will also operate between Exeter St Davids and Plymouth, calling at Newton Abbot, Totnes, and Ivybridge.
Trains will continue to run between Plymouth and Penzance.
They will also continue to operate between Newton Abbot and Paignton, except for the weekend of 12 and 13 February - at which time GWR advises people to use Stagecoach bus number 12.
Overnight engineering work at Parson's Tunnel
Overnight engineering work is taking place at Parson's Tunnel near Dawlish every Monday and Thursday until Thursday 17 March, but regular services are not affected.
The sleeper service between London Paddington and Penzance will not be running on the two weekdays specified, however, and the 10.02pm service from Paddington to Newton Abbot via Bath and Bristol will terminate at Exeter St Davids.
