Free lantern-making workshops are set to be held at Dawlish Library this half term ahead of next month's Christmas light switch-on.

Everyone is welcome to come and make lanterns from recycled materials, with the theme of 'From the Brook to the sea'.

The dates on which the workshops will take place are Monday 25, Wednesday 27, and Saturday 30 October, from 2pm-4pm.

If you would like to book a place, you can call the library on 01626 862529. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Christmas light switch-on

The lantern procession will take place on Friday 26 November on the Lawn at 4.30pm before the Christmas light switch-on at 6pm.
