Original article 14 December: COVID-19 booster jabs are now being offered in England to those aged 18 and over and who have had their second dose at least three months ago.

Walk-in appointments

Booster jabs are currently available at the Greendale Vaccination Centre, Exeter University, Kenton Victory Hall, and the English Riviera Centre in Torquay.

Greendale Vaccination Centre had to suspend its walk-in service yesterday (Monday 13 December) due to high demand, but has said that it is accepting walk-ins again today for those aged 18 and over who have had their second dose at least 91 days earlier.

Greendale's opening hours are 8.30am to 7pm seven days a week at the time of writing.

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust has recommended booking online to ensure you get an appointment.

Book online

If you're between 18-29 years old, you can book online from Wednesday 15 December. If you're over 30, you can book now.

You can book your booster dose if it's been more than two months, or 61 days, since your second jab and you'll be given an appointment from 3 months, or 91 days, after the second jab.

If you've had a positive Covid test, you'll also need to wait four weeks, or 28 days, until getting the booster.
