Dawlish: Body of man who went missing from Newton Abbot area located

Police were called to the Teigngrace area of Newton Abbot on Friday 5 November

The body of 33-year-old Shaun Brown, who was reported missing from the Newton Abbot area in March, has been located.

Police were called at 1.15pm on Friday 5 November to the Teigngrace area of Newton Abbot after receiving reports that a body had been located.

Human remains were found at the scene and formal identification has since taken place.

Police have said that his death is not being treated as suspicious and that a file is to be prepared for the coroner.

His next of kin have been informed.
